Bathroom Conference Confirmed

The Bathroom Manufacturers’ Association (BMA) has confirmed that the next Bathroom Conference will take place on October 14th 2008 at the Forest of Arden Hotel, Meriden, Warwickshire. The Bathroom Manufacturers’ Association, which organises the event has chosen sustainability as this year’s focus for the conference.

The 2008 Bathroom conference will evaluate ways to ensure the bathroom manufacturing and installation industry is conducting its business in a sustainable and socially responsible way.

The conference will evaluate aspects such as corporate social responsibility, sustainable community and business, economic consequences and expectations and demands of future bathroom design and installations. Other issues to be addressed include fair trade in bathroom manufacturing and sustainability of water and water usage.

Yvonne Orgill, Chief Executive of the Bathroom Manufacturers’ Association said: “There is no other event for the Bathroom industry quite like the Bathroom Conference.

This year’s event promises to be even bigger.
With important changes to building regulations and the government’s strategy for the future of water in the UK, the conference will deliver some very timely messages indeed.”
