We realise that finding the best plumber or heating engineer for the job is a daunting task, for an emergency as well as a planned and potentially much larger job. This is why we have developed a rigorous process to ensure all our network partners meet very stringent criteria and qualification and certification requirements as well as having years of experience in boiler repair, boiler replacement or any other central heating related jobs. The network, covering the majority of the UK is kept to a small number of highly experienced plumbers and heating engineers. We do not admit any company to our network. Rather we prefer to grow the network slowly, ensuring quality comes before quantity. This way we can be certain that our ability to meet the demand in the various markets can be achieved in the most professional way. Your peace of mind, that the plumber or heating engineer we assign is ideal for the job, is based on the following tests we conduct:
Rigorous Examination – when joining the network our partners undergo rigorous examination about all their qualifications, such as National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ2, NVQ3). This includes any additional and supplementary certifications (such as CORGI for gas boilers, OFTEC for oil boilers). In addition we check that their company is registered and holds proper public liability insurance and other legal requirements.
Thorough Interview – Each member of our plumbers and heating engineers network is interviewed by our team of experts. In the interview the partners are evaluated on their specific expertise (e.g. solar systems installation), area of focus (e.g. oil burning boilers), and their geographical coverage. In addition, we continuously review the status of our members through on-going interviews to ensure quality is maintained and further increased.
Proactive Continuous Feedback – every job is followed up by a call from our account managers directly to the customer. During these calls, the account manager’s scope is to get first hand un-filtered feedback. We seek not only positive feedback but also negative reaction to the quality of work undertaken by plumbers and heating engineers on our network. Continuous positive feedback will increase the rating of specific partners on our sophisticated custom designed management system, while negative feedback can actually strike off an underperforming partner.
Feedback Pages – our customers can contribute directly by inserting their feedback on our feedback pages highlighting very good experience with their plumber as well as not-so-good experience. Obviously, we constantly review these pages to further improve the quality of our network.
On Going Education – all our network partners benefit from access to our constantly updating database of technical knowledge base. This highly valuable resource, focused on plumbers and heating engineers, keeps tabs on the latest developments in the field and the latest trends in the plumbing and heating industry. Through constant updates and introduction to new technologies, we at Heating Central are further making sure that all the plumbers and heating engineers on our network are constantly ahead of the curve in their professional and technical knowledge.
Heating Central is on the Customer’s Side – Heating Central will provide full support and representation for the customer in case of dispute, offering assistance and help if plumber or heating engineer which is a network member has provided unsatisfactory service. If the case escalates, our team at Heating Central will be dedicated to supporting the customer first.
Furthermore, it is important to highlight that we have major leverage on the heating and plumbing engineer and will put our weight behind our customer not only to ensure satisfaction, but also to ensure that such occasions never happen again. This will be done through internal analysis of what went wrong which might eventually lead to the heating and plumbing engineer being expelled from our network if it is proved that they have grossly under performed. |
